Media Remote
Custom applications for disc creation and publishing are easily possible with the Media Remote programmers API. Since all communication with Media Remote is done with plain text ASCII files, programming consists of writing and reading these files. You can use any text editor to generate a job file with instructions for creating a disc. Jobs can also be generated by a database program or another software application.
The power in Media Remote is for creating an on-demand system where each disc is unique. Just a few examples are Music On Demand, automatic billing statements, patient records archiving, Just In Time software manufacturing, and digital photo printing.
